WELCOME PASTOR KEVIN DAVIS
I was very excited to receive the call to serve your congregation. My incredible wife Kim and I, along with our three children live in Avon. My daughter Kori is now 21 and learning how to adult, Clay is 18 and a Senior at Avon High School, and Brie is 12 years old going on 21.
I grew up in Hanover, Indiana, went to college for a BA in Church Ministries at Southeastern University in Lakeland Florida. I followed that degree with a MA in Spiritual Leadership from Indiana Wesleyan University. I served in youth ministry for over 20 years starting at Lakeview Church in Indianapolis, FIrst Assembly of God in Green Bay, Christ the Savior Lutheran Church in Fishers and most recently at St. Luke's.
After serving at St. Luke's as Youth Director for 8 years I transitioned to a Pastoral Care role as Director of Visitation.
Now I look forward to coming alongside BRUMC and seeing how God will help us to love our neighbors and grow in faith. Beyond ministry our family loves the outdoors. I love to mountain bike, we all love to hike and bike, and Kim is a kayaker. There is so much activity at our house, sometimes it makes my head spin. I'm really grateful for the opportunity to serve and look forward to seeing you this Sunday!
All Saints Sunday November 3rd
Since its earliest centuries, the church has set aside a day to remember the great cloud of witnesses who have gone before us in the faith, stretching across the centuries and around the globe. We call this day All Saints Day and it occurs on November 1st.
We celebrated many who have gone before us.

Grand Piano in the Sanctuary
Maybe you have noticed that our accompanists have been playing our hymns on a Grand Piano. This piano is a gift to The Garden UMC that has office and practice space in our building. They have offered its use to us and we are grateful.
